This hunting lease is leased and not available. Base Camp Leasing has a 70 acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in Albany County, New York. This hunting lease is located in WMU (4B) and is about 10 miles south of Albany. This property has a farm field that was not worked in 2022. Landowner plans on farming it this year. The woods are on east side of lease and go uphill quite steep. If you look at my ONX map that I attached you will see best route to top (I'm 58 and nursing broke leg and made it). The top is beautiful. Nice and flat with a lot of mature and immature hemlock. I couldn't walk 5 yards without stepping in deer sign. There are at least 2 main trails going down to the field. There was a deer bedded along field edge that did not even get up until after we stopped and I tried to get a picture. Jumped a half dozen up on top! Landowner would like property posted (neighbor has freshly posted east side). Please contact landowner for information he wants on posters. He would also like to meet the hunters on his property. They are a really nice family and have not leased before. ATV use for hunting purposes is allowed. If you want to bring a camper you can get with landowner for options (He might be able to hook you up with electric and water).
